Day 32 - Friday 2.25.11
Today was the perfect day. There was a clear sky, 75 out, and the sun was shining brightly. John and Connor got up and went outside to sit and eat breakfast in the sun. Bryce followed shortly after. We had a great idea for the day - to set up all our gear on the pool deck and practice in the sun. We spent an hour or so lugging our entire set-up to the pool.

Day 31 - Thursday 2.24.11
Johnny and I woke up to the dogs licking our faces, excited as ever. The axelrads have two boxers, Scooter and Pokey. They are some of the happiest dogs alive by far. If you hold them a couple feet from your face, they still constantly lick the air.
Mrs. Axelrad made us an amazing breakfast of some Tex-Mex Migas. Johnny ate 10 or so. His man beard isn’t just for show.

Day 30 - Wednesday 2.23.11
Day 30 is quite the landmark for us, we’ve been on the road a month now…Johnny hasn’t shaved once. Man-points for him.
We had left the bus on the street and so Connor got up brighttt and early to put some money in the meter. He ate some breakfast at the hotel and went back to sleep again. This process repeated as Bryce did the second shift, then Johnny a couple hours later....

Day 29 - Tuesday 2.22.11
The Mississippi sun woke us because the bus was heating up. A quick stroll back into Walmart got us going. The donuts that looked so delicious last night weren’t as great of a breakfast as we had thought, but they were good.

Day 28 - Monday 2.21.11
Hot-Lanta was great but today we had to depart.
We woke up and at breakfast the box of cocoa-puffs was throwing Connor for a loop as he tried to solve the puzzles on back. He couldn’t believe these were for kids.
A little later we packed our things, said our goodbyes with many many thanks and hit the road after some b-ball with Avi if course. We started driving even further south...

Day 27 - Sunday 2.20.11
Sunday we had one thing on our mind..Coca cola.
We got up to the amazing smell of breakfast being cooked. Mrs. Singh was making us an indian breakfast of bread rolls. These consisted of potatoe and vegetables cooked with spices then rolled in bread and fried in a pan. They were outstanding. We ate about 100.

Day 26 - Saturday 2.19.11
We woke up at the Singh’s this morning to meet our hosts, AJ’s cousins. His Aunt and Uncle, both doctors, were so nice and generous to allow us to stay at their home. Also he has two younger cousins, Eeshani (13) and Avi (6). We ate a quick breakfast and got the day going.

Athens might be the most fun place we’ve visited yet.
We woke up at Walmart to the sun beating down on the bus. Connor went inside to use the bathroom and then climbed on top of the RV to hang in the sun. Day 24 - Thursday 2.17.11
We woke up in the Love’s truck stop around noon, sweating for the first time because it’s getting hot down here. Usually we wake up shivering. We had nothing to do all day except make the 2 hour journey to Athens. We’ve realized how conditioned we’ve become to traveling times. It’s funny, when we were kids, the 15 minute drive to Dr. O’Brien’s office...

Johnny got up to take over the wheel an hour or so after Connor pulled off the road. We still have close to 7 hours of driving left to get to Charlotte. Bryce and Connor remained cuddled up on the pullout couch and JD drove for a couple hours.
