Day 6
Sunday Funday. Sunday was our first day of rest which we all needed and were looking forward to. The last 5 days have been exhausting, so we all slept in, woke up, and got lunch together at a local burger/sandwich joint called SoHI. Ali and Hilary were nice to let John and Bryce sleep on their couches. They woke up to a delivery of hundreds of bagels that were kindly shared. Connor stayed at...
Day 5
Dear Walmart, thank you for your hospitality and thank you for allowing us to shop when we awoke. Most of all, thank you for selling chunky soup and applesauce. Bruce, aka Bryce, and Johnny got the goods, Connor went in to brush his teeth and wash his face, which he said was a little weird..Gettin looks. Anyway, we slept great and hit the road after the quick shopping spree at Walmart. The drive...
Day 4
So last night sleeping in the officebuilding/electrical power plant prohibited parking area was terrific! We alll fell fast asleep laughing about how funny the asthma van must look like at this current location.
We wake up at nine, quickly get mobile command ready to depart, and hit the road. As we are doing a 17 point turn to get out of this place, Connor looks out the window to realize there...
Made so many trucker friends this morning.
Day 3
Day 3 was best yet.

We got a good couple hours of rest and then.. on the road again. We made it to U of I in no time and stopped first at a Walgreens, which was an interesting stop.
First, parking this bus is hard. It’s like the...
Day 2
A big day. First show on the tour, brand new drum set, free sandwiches…couldn’t beat it. It was a long day though and it still hasn’t seemed to end. As we start driving to champaign, IL at 3:47 A.M., we wonder if this trip will just be one really long day.
Last night, our first night sleeping aboard the bus, was easier than we anticipated. Connor and John report having slept like “new-born...
Day 1
Wow, we have finally begun our long-awaited adventure… Touring across the country, just the three of us, Bryce, Connor, and Johnny D. The last 4 or 5 months, we have been working around the clock planning, preparing for, and booking this tour. At first, we didn’t really know where to begin, or where to go, but we couldn’t be more excited with this opportunity. It’s fun...
